It all started here. My son was turning 13 and I was looking for the next 'COOL' Birthday Party idea. I searched for days looking for something to do that we hadn't already done before. I was so frustrated!
As it turned out, I was getting certified for a scuba trip to Cozumel at Underwater Phantaseas in Greenwood Village. As we were leaving the pool, I noticed they were setting up small tanks along the side of the pool. It was a Scuba Birthday Party for Kids. How cool was that?
Pictured are myself, my son and his friends at his 13th birthday party. They took an Intro/Safety Class, they donned the gear, and in no time at all, they were all breathing underwater with a regulator - and most made it in the deep end of the pool throwing water frisbees around!!
